100% Satisfied, I love my Peterbilt. Y'all made it super easy. Customer service in Garden City is excellent. I love you guys.
I'm very pleased with the process, from the time I put in my application. Having the warranty takes the stress off the driver, and I'm happy to have it. My truck is even better than what I expected.
About the Cash for Clunkers Program
In an effort to retire older trucks, a limited amount of government funds are available as rebates for truck owners to upgrade their trucks that service Chatham County, Georgia. These special funds are supplied by U.S. EPA through the Diesel Emission Reduction Act.
To qualify for a rebate, the program requires a trade-in of a 2011 and older model-year semi-truck that was not factory equipped with DEF and has made 150 pick-ups and/or drop-offs within an eight-mile radius of the Georgia Port Authority’s Garden City Terminal. Additionally, the trade-in truck must be operational and be owned by the participant for more than 2 years. Interested applicants can apply for participation with Meadowbrook Leasing, which is the Program’s Lender.
Once approved, applicants can trade in their qualifying truck then replace it with a 2015-16 model year semi-truck. The recipient will receive up to $32,500 for reducing the purchase price of the newer truck. The two sources are a) funds from a US EPA grant that is 50% of the newer truck sales price, up to $30,000 and b) destruction of your trade-in up to $2,500.
Participants are required to make 150 pick-ups and/or drop-offs within an eight-mile radius of the Georgia Port Authority for the term of the financing contract.
Funding is very limited. Interested owner-operators are encouraged to apply today while funding is still available. Contact us today to learn more about this exciting opportunity.
